Yesterday I bought me a new car. Not a regular car but a Nitro RC Car (Remote Controlled). It is a HPI Savage X Bigfoot 1/8 scale model.

This needs some explanation:
In the mid 90’s (I think it must be 94 or something) I bought my first Nitro RC car, a Kyosho Sandmaster ST. As a kid I was always busy with tuning my custom bike (out of several old or defective ones), fixing electrical housekeeping devices, playing with Technics Lego, etc…, so mechanics was one of my hobby’s. So I started with RC cars also because it always intrigued me. A few years later (must be 1996 I think) I bought my first real dirtbike: a Honda CR from 1990 (Harakiri bought the same one a few weeks earlier). A new hobby was born: motocross! I had some fine years with my friends doing all major tracks in Belgium, Holland and France. But on the 12th of march this year something terrible did overcome me: I had an accident with my BBR. My right leg was broken on several places. After tightening everything together with nuts and bolts it was forbidden to stand on it for 3 months. I may not drive a dirtbike anymore so I decided to pick up my old hobby: Driving Nitro RC Cars. So now you know why I bought this nice little thing.
