Trinity Rescue Kit is a derivative of other programs licensed under the GNU General Public License (or related licenses).
Trinity Rescue Kit itself is also licensed under these conditions.
Trinity Rescue Kit is not distributed with any commercially licensed software or licenses that restrict the use of it to any person or organisation.
TRK has however the possibility to download and execute commercial software which uses an evaluation license or needs a valid end-user license. These programs are not included in the original distribution of Trinity Rescue Kit, but are triggered to be downloaded and installed by an action of the end-user himself. It is the end-user of Trinity Rescue Kit that agrees with the terms and conditions of these programs.
The licenses and names of respective programs are below:
-F-prot license: http://www.f-prot.com/products/home_use/linux/
-Grisoft AVG License: http://free3.grisoft.cz/softw/70free/doc/license_us.txt
-BitDefender license: http://download.bitdefender.com/unices/bdscan/final/en/Linux/EULA
-Microsoft Windows XP license: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/eula.mspx

Below is the short version of the GNU GPL license. The complete license is included in TRK. Once started, you can read the license from the commandprompt by typing ‘more license.txt’
